This is probably the best quote of all time!! For the last few years I've seen the make up trends lean towards more glam looks. Great news though, this Spring's beauty trends are heading more natural and polished, and I couldn't be more excited! Let's take a peek at the make up used to create this "No Make Up Look", shall we? ![]() When it comes to make up, I like to use a bit of drug store as well as some higher end products to create a look. In my experience, it's all about the techniques used as most drug store products rival big brand names in quality. Going clockwise around the photo: City Color Cosmetics Contour Effects, is highly pigmented and is great for giving you a nice glow. The Balm Cosmetics mini eye shadow from the Nude Dude Palette. This was an Ipsy sample and is just perfect! Can be applied wet or dry, and is a beautiful purple bronze color. Mica Beauty Cosmetics Eye shadow Primer. This primer is a nice skin tone, and really is amazing. I love how it helps hold the shadows on and stays vibrant. I would definitely say this is a good dupe for MAC's Soft Ocre Paint Pot. La Girls HD Pro Conceal is an awesome under eye highlight to brighten under eyes. Milani Cosmetics Lipstick in Nude Crème 26 is a gorgeous pinky nude tone. It's formula is super moisturizing and it smells like watermelons. Model Co. Blush in Flirtini, this pink is the PERFECT pink for light skinned gals. Super pigmented, but when applied with a light hand it looks amazing. NYX Brow Pencil in Taupe Sephora Water Proof Eyeliner in Black 15 Color Nude Eye Shadow Palette, this little palette I picked up from Ebay some time ago. It's has some very close dupes to MAC's neutral palette and is one of my favorites! Not Pictured: Foundation, Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation and Translucent Pressed Powder Tarte Cosmetics Lights Camera Lashes Mascara After all of that, here is the look that I created using those products. Brows: Lightly filled in with NYX Eyebrow pencil in Taupe. A soft brow compliments this look perfectly.
On The Eye: Use a light layer of Mica Beauty Cosmetics eye shadow primer, from brow to lash line. This will conceal any veins in your lids and help keep your shadow in place. Start with a cream shade for your brow bone, for the crease choose a rust color and add a bit of taupe to soften, blending up toward brow and flicking it out slightly at outer corner of brow. Use the same cream shade for the lid. Eye Liner: Use a black or brown eyeliner and make small dots in between your lashes, smudge to connect those dots and soften the look. Repeat process on the bottom lash line, line with The Balm Flirty. Lashes: Finish with Mascara Lips: Milani Nude Crème 26 That's finishes this pretty natural look! Let me know what you think, and if you would wear a look like this!
